Maria Palise _her nata Birth location ?
& what was her Mothers name ? looks like Anna ??

(A 1934 New York Death record of Maria Palise has Maria Felise noted as her mother)

We see her marriage was in Santa Marina Salina, Salina, Italy, husband Antonio Lauricella was born there is noted.
Lauricella Family used the spelling as Laurie for surnames in 1900 >1950's

Birth location is "Napoli". It appears her mother's name was Anna Pizzi. She was alive at the time of the marriage.

Interesting because looking at the record I am reading Maria Palise's mother's name to be Anna Pipi?

I’ve located the Marriage Pubblication which gives a little more information about the bride’s place of birth. It states she was born in Napoli Sezione Porto. It also says that Anna Pipi? was 66 yo, donna di casa.

I'm still with Pipi but others can take a look as well.

No she was not the midwife. She was the mother of the baby Maria and the legitimate wife of Antonio Palise. Her surname is definitely Pipi. There is no mention of her being a midwife.

Now that I have been away and returned, I can see clearly that it says "marineo camoniere".

Ok !! Going to update some tree information.

Guess we will now search for Antonio Lauricella--Anna Pipi marriage records in Porto, Napoli, Italy. Since their daughter Maria was born there in Jul 1859.
We don't know the exact marriage year, and don't see a marriage index to search for names, so we will back track for any previous children births in Porto.

We don't know where the son (Joseph) of Maria Palise came up with Maria Felise as her mother on the Death Certificate ?? You will notice misspelling of listed names and birth date.

Thanks for all the help to everyone.

Found Anna and Antonio in Birth Record of a son (spelling looks like Onofrio Palisi in 26 Jan 1857.
These Porto records almost impossible to search---no indexs available , just did a backtrack from a 1859 July birth of their daughter Maria.--------

Anna's surname shown as Pepe.
