centimolaro

Post by bobturtles »

Does anyone know what kind of occupation a centimolaro was? Several members of my wife's family were listed as having that occupation in the 19th century. It seems to be an antiquated word that is no longer in use today. I cannot find it in any Italian dictionary.

I've only just seen this post now. I would say a centimolaro was a "wheat grinder".
