My great-great uncle was the above named musician from Mottola, Taranto, Italy.
I have documentation in his own writing of recognition by Maestro Guiseppi Verdi.
This fact is also mentioned in a biography of Maestro Scarano from the book, Mottola Per Le Strade
and the Program from a memorial concert played in Mottola in 1983.
I wonder if you might recommend someone who would help me translate some old handwritten documents from Italian to English.
The documents are from my great uncle's estate. As I mentioned, he was a musician and composer in Mottola, Italy and apparently received recognition from Guiseppi Verdi.
Some of the documents appear to have Verdi's name mentioned but I do not know Italian and cannot translate the context.
Please help me recover this important information.
