Carissima zia,

Dear PippoM,
Thank you for your translation of the Italian handwriting! I hope from this information I can figure out which relative sent it to my grandmother, Giovanna Mazzoli. She was from Narni, Italy.
Best wishes, Jeanne
You are welcome, Jeanne.
I hope you could translate it online, I had no time to do it.

Dear Giuseppe "Pippo",
I was able to translate this photo card #3 into English online. I believe that it was written to my Nonna, Giovanna Perini Mazzoli, by her niece back in Italy. My Nonna had lost her first son, Gino, to pneumonia (from measles). It was awful. She told me the story herself when I was a teenager. She still cried after more than 60 years. I never forgot that story. From the postcard, it seems that the writer (was it Bruna or Carlotta?) had lost 2 little ones herself. I had no idea what this postcard was about until you transcribed it for me. I have added it to my Family History stories. Thank you very much, Giuseppe! Jeanne
Very few works have been published in English on the topics of Italian heraldry, nobility and onomatology as these relate to genealogy. Yet all three fields depend upon genealogical research.
