Help Needed - De Luca and Casertano surnames

Post by ante.oneil@gmail.com »

I'm hoping people can shed some light on this. I am looking to find my family tree on the De Luca side. My grandparents were Luigi De Luca and Serafina (I think) Casertano. Early 1900. They were from Capua Vetere Santa Maria Caserta. S. Casertano was from San Prisco (next neighbourhood from Capua). Does this mean anything to our fellow ancestry searchers? Here's hoping.

Family Search has records online through 1929 for both places.

Correction, only up to 1910 for San Prisco, but through 1929 for SMC.

Do you know any birth or marriage dates? Your information is very general. Did Luigi and Serafina get married in Italy? Do you know the date or a period; do you know their birth dates or periods? Parents' names? These surnames are and were common in San Prisco and Santa Maria Capua Vetere. I was born in San Prisco and have written several publications about San Prisco.
