Please check my attempt at translating this 1815 Rivelo from Sicily:
""Mauro Pitruzzello owns the herein lands
of the following location, amount, and condition
in the territory of Melilli.
In the locality of the mountain and San Giorgio.
Extending a legally measured 3 tumula -------- 3
Bordering on the west, east, and north
with lands of Sebastiano Calzetta; and on the south
with lands of Angelo Crave’.
All belonging to the arable class.
Today in Melilli the 4th day of July 1815.
Mauro Pitruzzello has presented
the above property tax declaration ---
Alfio Germano"

Re: 1815 Rivelo
Would that size lot likely be for home use only? It appears to be about 3/4 of an acre?
Re: 1815 Rivelo
In that time, nobles possessed huge extensions of land.
The others were lucky to own even small pieces, and they plowed all to survive!
