Hello,
Could someone help with the translation of this record of what I believe is Domenica Corneti. I had overlooked this record several times in the index thinking is said Domenico, but looking closer I believe the clerk has a very unique writing style. The one key word I can make is the town name of Rosola, which has a very similar hook coming off the a, and the t in Pietro almost looks like a d.
I think I convinced myself, I see my grandfather's name Pietro Masotti as the informant, and am seeing his father Luigi Masotti as her deceased husband.

Thank you!

Translating Death Record - Domenica Corneti
Re: Translating Death Record - Domenica Corneti
Yes it's Domenica Corneti, a woman.
Notice that it reads "della Corneti Domenica" rather than "di Corneti Domenico".
It is a use of Northern Italy the put an article before a female name.

Re: Translating Death Record - Domenica Corneti
Thank you so much Pippo, I see what you mean by the different articles now. This clerk has some exaggerated writing style
.
Could someone help with the rest of the translation, my fingers are more crossed that I've found her. Also I forgot to mention in my original post, I had found (their son) my great-great-grandfather's baptism (Pietro Masotti) in his second marriage... that translation indicated that Domenica's father name was Giovanni.
Husband: Luigi Masotti (sometimes I've see Masotti written with two "s" )
Son if listed : Pietro Masotti
Father: Giovanni Corneti.
Thank you!
