Raccolto Family

Post by Eduarda90 »

Greetings,

Please I'm looking for any tips regarding the Raccolto family.

Every document I have says that Emilio is from Verona but I've never actually found any documents.
Do you know from where I could start?

His dad was Angelo, and his mother was Regina Busona. (it might be a variation of the real surname, Im afraid)

Any tips you have could really help me here.

This is my genealogic tree if you are interested:

Thanks in advance.

Raccolto is a surname that doesn't seem to exist in Italy, or to be very rare.
Moreover, it sounds like a surname for a foundling, so the search is very hard.
However, I could not find him in the military enlistments of the City of Verona:

Giuseppe "Pippo" Moccaldi

Certificate requests and genealogical researches in Italy.
Translation of your (old) documents and letters.
Legal assistance in Italy for your Italian citizenship.

Hello Pippo, I appreciate you looking into this.

yeah, I don't know how many times I've looked into this record hoping to find him.

I think it can vary to Ricoldi (or maybe even another one) because that's how his sister was named through the Brazilian records.

On her marriage certificate, it mentioned a city where she was born but I couldn't find any matches in Verona, perhaps another city /comune altogether.

If you want to have a look at it: Is the marriage on your right side (Marcos Bigai and Julia, her surname is definitely misspelled as I think they mixed her mother's surname)
