Help translating marriage document from Monreale, Sicily, Italy
Good evening - I am hoping someone can help me translate the attached marriage record. It's no. 66 on the bottom left corner of Benedetto Campanella and Margarita Randazzo. I know enough Italian to be able to make out most of it, but the abbreviations are what get me. Specifically I am looking at the part in the 4th line "...Benedetto, figlio di Vincenzo eta qam Benedetta Campanella". The "eta qam" with the little wiggle over the a is really what I'm trying to decipher. I am trying to confirm Benedetto's parents. I know dad is Vincenzo. Is Benedetta mom, or is this a 2nd wife to Vincenzo? I've not found any birth/death records for Benedetto confirming Benedetta is mom. I have found records with the parents listed as Vincenzo and Catarina, but I'm not sure that this is the right family. There doesn't seem to be a Vincenzo and Benedetta in the area, however. So...all that rambling to say I'm really not sure, but I'd love to know what that abbreviations mean relating to Benedetto's parents. In any event, if someone can help with the translation I'd greatly appreciate it!
Thank you!
Robin

Hi,
it says "e la qdm" where qdm stays for "quondam", i.e. "deceased" (mother of the spouse)

Pippo - Thank you so much! I thought it might be deceased, but couldn't figure out what the abbreviation stood for. I appreciate the help!
Thank you!
