I recently acquired a book, written in Italiana, on the geneaolgoy of my grandfather’s people in Volturara Irpina.
I have put in bold the words [after the dates] that I do not understand or what they are meant to signify.
I know fieto = proud, and spirito = spirit, monaco = monk ….I’m at a loss with the others. Any thoughts you have are appreciated.
“I Raimo attuali discendono da tre antenati diversi del 1500, parenti tra di loro:
a> Salvatore Raimo (1540*-1640*): pepporaimo, fieto, spirito, ascieri, trigna
b> Ferdinando Raimo (1580* - 1640*): raimese
c> Antonio Raimo (1620*-1680*): micoraimo, monaco, marcantonio
thanks so much
