Translation Request: Italian Civil Death Record Annotation

Post by ImWalkinHere! »

Hello all,
I am trying to solve a mystery about true father of my great grandfather, Michele Lombardo. Attached is an annotation made on his death certificate, but I can't make out the script. We always believed his father was Luciano Lombardo, but I recently learned that Michele's mom Filomena Giannone was previously married to Luciano's brother Vincenzo who died young. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Con deliberazione di questo Tribunale 26-8-924 è stato così rettificato. Nel senso che al nome errato paterno - Vincenzo - sia sostituito quello vero di - Luciano -
The father was Luciano, not Vincenzo, as was written in the deed.

Wow, thank you so much! I can make out the words now, but that was really tough for me to piece out since I don't speak Italian.

I wonder what made them make this correction 4 years after his death?
