Hi - can anyone make out this street name in a Palermo birth record from 1864? Via Car___?

It seems Carmela but that would be too easy and I didn’t find a street named like that in Palermo in those years.

I was able to read his father's birth record a bit more clearly and he was born on Via Candelai, which I was able to find on a current map. It doesn't look like Candelai to me, but what do you think?

From what I can see on the birth act, the parish was in the Albergheria area of Palermo in the old town.
In that area there is a short street named vicolo del Carmelo just off Piazza del Carmine behind the Ballaro’ market.
That could be the one.
