Iavenditti

Post by Kristin676 »

I am looking for anyone who might be related to the Iavenditti family from either Gildone, Campobasso, Italy or from Gambatesa, Campobasso, Italy. I ask because I recently found that Ariana Grande and I seem to have the same 6 times great grandfather. However, I am confused as to how this could possibly be, because my 5 times great grandfather was born in 1763 and hers was born in 1760. They both had different mothers and it seems that both mothers were still alive and supposedly my 6 times great grandfather Francesco Iavenditti was married to both. So I am looking for someone who might have his name on there family tree.

Thank you

Hi, I have a 2x great-grandmother in my family from Gildone with Iavenditti as her maiden name. She was a sister to Ariana Grande's 2x great-grandfather. Who is the individual you share in common with her and when were they born? Thanks.

Hello,

My 6x great grandfather was Francesco Iavenditti. He was married to Maria Di Renzo. My 5x great grandfather is Pasquale Iavenditti. I believe that Ariana Grande and I share my 6x great grandfather, Francesco. However, my 6x great grandfather has a different wife. So I am little confused as to whether he was married twice. Thanks for any help.

Hi,

I share the same 6x great-grandfather, and the 5x great-grandfather, Giuseppe, with Ariana Grande. From the research I completed with some cousins, we found Giuseppe's death record. Stating he died on January 5, 1814, son of Francesco Saverio Iavenditti and Caterina Colella. As well, the death record of another son, Pasquale Antonio, died on December 12, 1823, son of Francesco Saverio Iavenditti and Caterina Colella. Is this the same wife you have in your tree?

My 5x great grandfather is Pasquale Iavenditti who died on December 31, 1796. His mother was Maria Di Renzo. I found a record for Francesco Saverio Iavenditti, with a death record for him as March 17, 1764 and it says his parents are Nicola Iavenditti and Agata Giuliano. Do you have those people on your tree?

The only Pasquale who was a son of Francesco in my tree is the one who was born approx. 1770 and died on December 12, 1823. As for Pasquale's wife, I have her name as Angelantonia Farinaccio. Where did you find that Pasquale passed away on December 31, 1796? In regards to Francesco's wife, when he died it stated his wife was Caterina Colella... he could have possibly had a previous wife who passed away before him (Maria Di Renzo), but I have not found this data. As well, I can confirm the names of Francesco's parents are Nicola Iavenditti and Agata Giuliano.

Hello,

I found my Pasquale on a processetti for his son's marriage my 4x great grandfather Francesco Saverio Iavenditti. It also had my 6x great grandfather Francesco Iavenditti and said he was married to Maria Di Renzo, she died after him. It could possibly be that he married two women. It is always possible. Then it is the same man. Because my Francesco's parents are Nicola Iavenditti and Agata Giuliano.

My great grandfather was Giovanni Iavenditti from Gildone. I am having a hard time sorting things out but it looks like there was only one extended family in Gildone and it looks like they were all related. Iavenditti is a rare name today and was a rare name in Italy at the time. As such, it makes sense to me that all people from Gildone with this last name must be related to each other.
