If you could provide a bit more information it would help us help you better.

Can you provide first names, place of birth, rough birth years, siblings, spouse (maiden names if known) or parents? Any small details help to narrow the search, otherwise it would be like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi I'm trying to find out how Beniamino Bertorelli and Lazzarro ( who came to London in the early 1900s) were related. Beniamino's son Armando ( my husbands grandpa) used to spend alot of his time at the Charlotte Street restaurant with Lazzarro's sons. I don't know whether they were Armando's cousins or uncles.
Did Beniamino come to London with Lazzarro? This is the same Beniamino who married Rosmonda Cura.

Also Beniamino and Rosmonda - as well as Armando their son, had 2 daughters , Gioconda and I think Anita but I can't find anything on them. Gioconda moved down to the South of England but I know nothing about Anita.

Please help if you can

Thanks for that info. It's really interesting but I'm non the wiser in terms of lazzarro and Beniamino's relationship. Were they brothers or cousins etc. Could be that I need to look further back perhaps in Italy- Were they on the same ship coming over from Italy? How would I find that out?

According to other Bertorelli family members listed on genesreunited.co.uk Lazzaros family came to the UK from Bergazzi near Bardi in the Parma region

Also did you notice that David Bertorelli son of Lazzaro named his daughter Anita

:o - Interesting.
I've just looked in google maps and for those who might want to look further back along the Bertorelli tree, Bergazzi where Lazzaro's family came from is just less than a quarter of a mile away from a village /town called Bertorella.

Hi,
Lazzaro and Beniamino were brothers in law. Lazzaro was born in London, so did not come to England with Beniamino, he was already was here.
Hope this helps, if there is anything else i can help you with please just ask, and i would love to know where you fit into the family tree.

Hi

lazzaro must be a pretty common italian name. I was looking for the connection between Beniamino Bertorelli and the Bertorelli family (Lazzarro beign the head of this family) who own the Bertorelli's restaurants in London . Beniamino used to send his son Armando to the London Charlotte Street restaurant so i know there is a family connection- i don't know how they are connected however.
can anyone help?
