Birth Certificate Translation & Transcription

Post by Anya »

This is my great-grandfathers birth certificate. Or at least a copy of it. From what I was told, the original most likely burned during the fire in Campobasso during WW2. If anyone could please translate the language and handwriting. It looks like Ricciardella for the last name, but my grandfather always said it was pronounced Ricciardelli. If I need to take it down because it has sensitive information that I don't realize, please let me know as well!

Your 2GGM Giovanna Albanese is my 3C5R. Her parents were Nicola Maria Albanese and Libera Santoro. Your 2GGFwas Francescopaolo Ricciardella, son of Pasquale and Maria Concetta del Colle of Campobasso. Your Ricciardella family originated in Riccia and ascends as follows: Francescopaolo<Pasquale<Luigi<Nicola<Carlo<Francesco.
