Translation of Birth Certificate and N.M meaning

Post by porta1412 »

Hi, can someone please help me with this translation.

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... 8S&lang=en

#597 Maria De Marco

Also what does N.M. next to their name in the index mean?

Thanks so much
Joe

1901 Birth No 597 of Maria de Marco

Registered in Molfetta on 4 March 1901

Appearing was Andrea de Marco, 28 yo, cantiniere (bar tender/wine bar tender) living in Molfetta, who reported that at 5 am on 4 March 1901, from Lucrezia di Pinto, a casalinga (housewife/domestic duties), his wife, living with him, was born a baby girl who he presented and gave the name of Maria. The baby was seen to be without life.

N.M. - Born Dead (Stillborn)
