Giambattista Valerio / Isernia Molise

Post by Ellen's family »

Does anyone have any family information or connections to the following?
I have been looking the parents of my great great grandfather Giambattista Valerio for some time.
He was married to Maria Carolina Sanape, from Isernia, Molise.
Maria's parents were Demenico Sanape and Maria Vincenza Maresca.
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you

Hello, I belive I have found Giambattista's Atto di Nascita.

I used familysearch and found a record for the birth of a Matilde Valerio whose father was Giambattista Valerio and whose mother was Carolina Senape. I used that record (which I then found on Antenati) to come to the conclusion that Giambattista was born 1827-1829. I then found a Giambattista Valerio born in 1827 in Isernia using Antenati.

Matilde Valerio birth on Familysearch: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... Y6?lang=en

So yes, he was born in 1827.

So yes, 1827 was the right date. I used the scenic route though.
