I'm trying to help a friend research his SCIACCA family. Three Sciacca brothers came to America (possibly through the port of New Orleans, LA) around 1885.
Victor Sciacca, born about March 1863
Guiseppe Sciacca, born circa 1864
Salvatore Sciacca, born in February 1866
Any advice as to records in Alia for this time period or other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Sciacca Family from Alia Municipality, Palermo, Sicily
Thanks very much for your reply. Although the Census and Church records are too early for the timeframe I have, the Civil Records are a fit and a good place to begin. If I can find them there, I'll be able to use the earlier records
Thanks again!
