I am planning on making a trip to Gaeta, Italy in the autumn 2007. I believe that I still have extended family there as I heard from a distant cousin named Attilio via email a year or so ago when he was 18 years old. However, since then his email address through the university is no longer active. Since I am travelling with my family, I thought it would be nice to meet him and other extended family that might be there when we visit.
Does anyone have any recommendations on how it would be best to learn of what family is still there in Gaeta, Italy and how to get in touch with them whether it be via mail, email or phone?
Any help you are able to provide will be greatly appreciated.

To get a feel for who is there and if they may be related to you:
http://www.paginebianche.it/index.html
cognome=surname
dove=town
cerca=search
this will bring up all people listed with your surname and their address,
next step...send out potential relative letters......
