Well as a positive point, you should post your info in any case. Google indexes this site and it is one of the first places someone searching for your family/ancestral towns will hit. I can't tell you how many people find my sites thru this forum (via google). A resource who's value is beyond measure.

I have to agree with James ...

By far the easiest way to get information is to have people contacting you ... it happens to me all the time ...

Being searchable is a tremendously powerful tool ... remember to be persistent, too ... I've recently had several closed doors open from the most unexpected places.

I agree. Never give up. Sometimes you need only to post something and down the road, out of no where, you get that much anticipated response.

I recently rec'd a break in my researching after waiting for over 1 1/2 without anything.
