Rose, have you contacted Laura who maintains a Termini Imerese genealogy website located here???

She is a very sweet lady with a lot of information on the town and the genealogy of its inhabitants. She has also extracted thousands of Civil Records (although she charges a fee to access them, I believe $50 a year).

Perhaps if you contacted her directly via email she may be able to connect you with others researching your families.

Yes James,

Thank You, Laura is the main reason I have gotten so far in my genealogy, in little over a year. She is a GREAT woman, and does an awsome job with the Termini Imerese site, database, etc. etc. etc.

Thanks again,
Rose

Rose I'm an Eannarino. Years ago the DMV changed my great grandfathers name to Eannarino by accident. How are you tied to the Iannarino's?

Hi beannarino,
All the surnames I listed are my direct lines. Iannarino are my 3rd or 4th great grand parents. I dont have my files in front of me at the moment. Is your Iannarino family from Termini ? How far back do you have your Iannarino family? maybe we can compare notes when I come back from NY.

I have the same surnames you have. The families came over from Termini to St. Louis and Memphis areas. It is my husband, John Sansone's, lines.

I also got most of my info from the Termini site with Laura.

Hi Pistorio

My great grandmother is Giuseppa Gentile she immigrated to New Orleans in the late 1800's, her father was Salvatore Gentile but I believe he was actually from Palermo. Her mother was a Battaglia from Termini.

I have the surnames Bova and Eannarino (Iannarino) in my family line. I have been looking for anything showing family further back than my great-great grandfather, my GG Grandfather was Augustino Bova and he was married to Marie (Eannarino) Bova, I believe Augustino's parents were Phillip Bova and Antetva Busaten, all from Termini, they immigrated to the USA in the late 1880's. Any info would be hugely appreciated.

My maiden name is Eannarino. I understand we came from Termini Imerese with family names of Parrino and Mercurio. Ancestors settled in Chicago turn of the century. Are there family members out there familiar with these names? Is Eannarino also from Termini Imerese?
