I have traced my name and family to Santa Caterina Villarmosa but only as far back as 1909. I would like to go back further in Sicilian history.

I assume you mean go back in your family history. In that vein, you can write to Santa Caterina Villarmosa Postale 93018, Province of Caltanissetta at Ufficio di Stato Civile and request documents for family members provided yoiu have their full name and dates of birth or year of birth. Form letters can be obtained thru www.envirocare.net/genealogy/davids.form_letters.html. Include a self addressed envelope and forward $5.00 in postal coupons or cash if you feel comfortabel in sending that. Peter
