I'm looking for the first name of my husband's great-aunt. Her birth certificate only lists a surname. We have always known her as Genevieve.
Recently I was told as a child she was called Genuefa (sp). Is that an Italian variation of Genevieve?

Genoveffa is the correct italian spelling and version for the french name Genevieve.
