I am trying to trace my ancestry, would really enjoy hearing from anyone with the last name of Cimini. I was born in N.J. My father's family included several brothers and sisters, including one sister who left the family at a young age to become a singer.

The best way to go is start at the end and work back. If you go to www.ellisisland.org for information on your father's or grandfathers first and last name and you can then find the place of origin as well as "his" age at time of entry. With that information ytou can go to IOtaly and seek out relatives in the town of origin. Please get back to me when you locate the arrival data. There are 196 Cimini entries into the USA as immigrants. Peter
