WOW!
What terrific finds!
Checked the Family History Library, they do have microfilm available
for civil records from Caccuri.
MJ, you’re right the Rocco living with the Caputo’s could be another
relative!
Congratulations to everyone :D .

Other familiar surnames from Caccuri on the 1910 census also:
Marullo-Salvatore's wife Caterina's maiden name
Olivito
Spatafore

Looks like a lot of Caccuri folks chain migrated to Boomer.

Biff,

Could you explain what you wrote above? You are saying that Caterina's married name is Marulla, correct?

How does Olivito and Spatafore connect? Thanks.

I would say a large % of the kids from Caccuri ended up in Boomer.

About the Rocco Falbo that was living with Salvatore:

Anna Caputo Falbo (salvatore's sister) was married to Agostino Falbo. Agostino had a brother named Rocco. I would guess that is him. Also, I was told that he was a tailor and that he ended up in Argentina. I don't how I would ever verify if he ended up in Argentina, though.

Salvatore's 1912 and 1921 manifests state his nearest relative in Italy as Caterina Marullo. So, if this is the right Salvatore, we know his wife's maiden name.

Besides Marullo, Olivito and Spatafore(a) are surnames from Caccuri which also appear on the 1910 census for Boomer.

Oh, ok. Thank you. Yes, that is her correct maiden name, I have in on a document that I have found, that I copied, when I was in Caccuri.

Yes, Olivito and Spatafora are very common names in Boomer from Caccuri. Supposidly, my greatgrandfather Agostino and Mrs. ? Spatafora had the best singing voices in Boomer!

Thank you for your help.

In fact I found a 1902 arrival manifest about Vincenzo La Cava from Caccuri going to meet his brother in Law Agostino Falbo in Monongah? WV

I'm sorry Rosa Falbo's father's name is shown to be "Francesco" on the manifest. My Rosa's father's name was Raffaele. They were cousins.
