Origin Surname BELLO

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

I was wondering if anybody can help me to find out the origin of my lastname. I'm from Peru and making some research on the web I found out that the lastname 'BELLO' could be from Italy (dont know where exactly and I dont have any details).

In the other hand, there's a guy from Nigeria here in my company whose lastname is BELLO as well, he was telling me the lastname is from Nigeria (muslim origin) so I'm a little bit confused now.

I appreciate any information, thanks a lot!

Hi, and welcome to the forum.
The name Bello is very common in Italy. Put in Bello where it says cognome and press the red arrow. If you have any information at all, it will help to narrow it down.
