Now I need information on Piazza from MARY C PUSATERI's side... How does PUSATERI connect to my PIAZZA? See below for information... When I was young, I was told that Rinella ( Pusateri ) was related to Piazza, Cousins?... I remembered when I took my 1966 Ford Mustang to Antone Rinella's auto body shop in San Jose, CA, my parents told me that Antone was the cousin... Years later, I digged up the family tree papers and fed data into my internet family tree ( Ancestry.com ) and found more surnames that I am trying to fit into my family tree...

My Piazza's side are:

John,

What do you mean by telling me that Di Vittorio is a fabricated name? My grandmother's passport stated that her name was Teresa Di Vittorio and and also on her marriage certificate...

Mark

In my family it is a fabricated name so no help really to you. One of my ancestors changed his named to Di Vittorio from Ugo/Accardo since he was the son of Vittorio, when I saw you name's origination I knew we had no connection. To this day we do not know why he did.

Hey John,

I happened to check the internet and it stated that Di Vittorio is one of the ten most common surnames in Sicily... How's about that ? :)

I have a grandmother who's name was Onofria Piazza and her mom was Onofria Cortesi. Onofria Cortesi was married to Antonio Piazza together they had 3 children Nicola Carmela and my grandmother.
Do the names connect?
I too am creating a family line, so I'm interested in finding more details.
