Help with information on Lamoyi surname

Hello,

My name is Sandra Lamolli. I am in search of the surname Lamolli which is not an orignial name. I found some information with the name Lamolli and Lamoyi linked together. If I am correct I think some Lamoyi is in the Piedmonte and Sicily area. Not sure about this. Can someone help regarding this please. Does anyone know of a place called Puglia and it's location? Also, La in Italy would be di or de? Hope some one can help.

Lamolli and lamoyi is noweher to be found. There is none in websitges,directories or surname dictionary for italy. This does not mean that the name does not exist as it might be a very local surname found in only one town or area of Italy and no wheer else. The words "la" mean "the " in english. Puglia is a region in southern Italy on the Adriatic Sea. Peter

Thedre is only 1 person in Italy and his name is LAMOLI in Prtato, Italy. Go to www.paginebianche.it and put in his name in the first line Lam,oli and Prato in the third line and click CERCA. Does this help? Peter

Thank you for the information. The site you gave me was great. Interesting how just one Lamoli shows up. As I have seen other people with the name Lamoli. Still a mystery for me to try and find out the Origins or Lamolli. I have found that the name has changed so much. From Lamoya, Lamolli, Lamoli, Lamoni, Lamolly even Lamoyi. But I think all are not original. Maybe Lamoli and Lamoyi would be more orginial not sure. Again, thanks for the information. Back to the searching board
