Re: Handwriting translation
My understanding...
Juan Ruzzo died on Sep 21 1928 in the Alvear Hospital, in the Capital of the Argentina Republic, aged 50, Italian.
He was the son of the deceased Vincente Russo and the deceased Dominga Tablar, and was married to Carmen Bustas

Thanks, it´s Bustos but you are coming to the same conclusion as some others I asked.
The stonewall right now is the last name of the mother Tablar, the certificate she was Italian but there is no record of that last name
Any advice to proceed?

Re: Handwriting translation
While Tablar is indeed a spanish surname whose oriign appears to be Spain, there is no record for any Tablar entering Argentina as an immigrant, however there is a Sicilian surname TAIBBI appearing inthe Italian surname dicitionary reflecting that it is a Sicilian surname with variations such as Taibba or Taibbo and even Taibi.
The CEMLA immigrant arrival record has 3 TAIBBI surnamed entries into Argentina leaving the possibility that her name may have been translated into Tablar for some unknown reason along with her First name Dominga from Domenica.
In Spanish language, the letters L R and C are the only letters that are doubled into LL, RR and CC and any other doubled letter would not be readily recognized as good spanish and resisted. Just a thought. =Peter=

Thanks Peter, but I am pretty sure that Giovanni Russo didn´t travel with his parents but with his brother and an uncle.
