Post by jfisher53 »

Looking for information on Fidaleo, Ciccolella and Dibiase families.
Here is what I know:
Giovanni Fidaleo b. 10 May 1889 in Italy d. Feb 1973 in Revere, Massachusetts
was married to Catherina Dibiase b. 13 Oct 1899 in Italy d. Nov 1985 in Everett, Massachusetts.
Giovanni's father was Salvatore Fidaleo (no other information known) and his mother was Josephine Ciccolella (no other information known)

Catherina's father was Michael Dibiase (no other infomation known).
Any help tracking down this line would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Jeff

Hello Jeff
Welcome to the Forum
Do you have any of your family's US records?
- census, military registration, ship manifest?
We wouldn't want to duplicate your research
Thanks!

This is great!
It all seems to match as far as birth dates and when we thought they arrived.
We do not have any other documentation.
one interesting thing is that my sister mentioned that Giovanni was missing a finger and this draft card states that he was missing a finger.
Pretty cool!

Thanks for your help!

I have a database with many many Fidaleos in it. Do you have Access?
I can email database to you. It would be very helpful to you if those Fidaleos were from Itri. This database was collected from my research of Itri town records of about 1809 to 1865. I am a Fidaleo. My father's mothe was a Ruggieri. My mother was a DiBiase-Sinapi and a Masella-Capirchio.
These names are common in Itri.
Take care

Claudio, How do I get the database to you. What is your email address.
I think I know you. You live in Stamford and I came to your house once--stopped by while my daughter was at the doctor nearby. I spoke to your wonderful wife. You weren't home. Of course, I never followed up. Your brother and parents live in the same neigborhood. I mention all this to make sure I have the right person in mind. I don't come to this site very often. My email is zicepo@gmail.com
take care
Joe
