What kind of archival documents are these?

I posted this at one of the other forums, but received no responses. Perhaps here...

Thanks to anyone who can tell me what kinds of documents these are from an Italian archive. What type of information would I expect to find in each of them?

1 - atti privati e dei repertori di notai, cancellieri e uscieri

2 - Capilista

3 - Atti dei notai

4 - Inventario

1 - atti privati e dei repertori di notai, cancellieri e uscieri = Private deeds and notaries, chancellors and ushers indexes

2 - Capilista = first names of the list (???)

3 - Atti dei notai = Notries' deeds

4 - Inventario = Inventory

I capilista potrebbero essere una sorta di capifamiglia all'interno di un censimento? Che ne pensi Livio?

Luca is suggesting that the Capilista could be the heads-of-the-house within a Census.

and it makes sense.
