Re: Italian nicknames
Christo, my Father's cousin was named Annuciata and they called her Nancy, as possibliity for Nune.
Re: Italian nicknames
Our "Calogera" family members went by Carrie
Tonny just looks like Tony to me for Anthony or Antonio...
Annuciata could also be Annunzianata

Re: Italian nicknames
Nune could also be Nunzio. Carrie could be Cara or "dear"
Toonie could be Tony.
Toonie could be Tony.
Re: Italian nicknames
Nune could be a form of nonno or nonna (grandpa or grandma). Tonny could be a form of Antonio. Usually Nunziata is Nuccia in Italy...and Nancy here in the US...at least thats what I have seen.
