Lizzul/Grasich/Radovich/Bobar

Post by nicoledkelley »

I believe my great great grandmother's maiden name was Lizzul; however, I also see Grasich. Is Grasich a nickname or family name? My great grandfather's last name is Radovich; however I know they had a nickname or family name Bobar. This family was from Sumber, Istria

Go to www.surnamefinder.com/search/G066305.html and clickon Grasich which is a surname and not a nickname. =Peter=

Could it be a nickname too. I only ask because when looking at the old documents, it looks like Lizzul is the last and then it says Grasich too. Just the same way it says Radovich and Bobar.

Bobar is listed as a surname in the Austria telephone directory but NOT in the surname finder. Go to www.herold.at and just type in BOBAR and clcik "finden"

Whether Bobar is also a nickname is not known but since it does not appear in the surname finder like Grasich it may be considered by some people to be both a nickname and a surname in Austria. I do not know for certain. =Peter=
