Ingrao family in Alcamo and Palermo

I'm from the U.S. and am researching my Grandfather's heritage. His name was Salvatore Ingrao, and he was born in Alcamo in 1896. He came to the U.S. in 1912, and left behind extended family members in Palermo. Any information anyone has would be helpful. Thanks!

Dear Linda the civil records for Alcamo date from 1815 to 1915 and can be rersearched very easily at the family history library of the Mormon hcurch nearest your home. They have all the birth, marriage and death records for Al;camo. Thus you can trace your famil in Alcamo back to 1815 for starters. The extended family in palermo would also have family connection in Alcamo and be listed. Hi Linda,

My gfather, MARIANO ASCOLI, was also from Alcamo, b 1901. While I do not recall any Ingrao in our family, since our ancestors are from the same town, please let me know via a posting here, if you should find any Ascoli from Alcamo in your family tree.
