Looking for more information on the family of Domenicantonio IPPOLITI.
Dominic married Carmela PIUMELLI. They had one known daughter, Angela. Angela IPPOLITI was born 30 Aug 1908, di Laurino, di Salerno, Italy. Any additional information or suggestions, will be appreciated.

In Laurino, the name is Ippoliti, although Ippolito is much more common in the rest of Campania. Do you have any records yet? Who was the immigrant, and can you give us a little more info (where did the settle, approximately when did they immigrate)?

Thank you for your prompt reply. Angelina IPPOLITI b. 30 Aug 1908 Florence, Italy, immigrated to USA about the time of her Chicago, IL arranged marriage 31 Dec 1925. She married Nunzio Dadabbo (D'Addabbo) who was born 2 Feb 1899 Bari, Italy. Angelina came to USA with 2 sisters, Vingenzina and unknown. Angelina and Nunzio eventually made their home in Detroit, MI. I was unable to locate this Ippoliti family on the Ellis Island website. Any information will be helpful.

Ellisisland records stop in 1924 and sp there would be no public record save for their social security SS-5 application or their petition for US citizenship most likely in Detroit. =Peter=

Ancestry has manifests after 1924. I am looking through them now, but haven't found anything yet.

I found the manifest, but I don't know how to post from Ancestry. Here is the info for someone more savvy than I to post. Carmella and Angela are on this record also. Names are blurry.
