When getting Italian Citizenship with divorced parents.

I almost have all the documents needed. My parents were divorced in Florida and I live in NY. Do I need to get record of this for my Italian citizenship?

If they are your natural parents and were divorced after your birth, I don't believe you even need to bring the subject up.
