I am trying to find any information on Biago Nasonti. Married to Teresa Baptista(battista). I believe teresas parents were charles baptista and franchesca pizzino. i am told the name baptista was PRESTI before nuns changed the name. I have a date feb 17 1868...don't know if it is birth date of the father. also have basilio missimi as father of franchesca.

Can you tell me if these people immigrated to the US? Or are you just looking for Italian records? If so, we must find the town of origin.

The name Nasonti does not appear in Italy today. However, the name Nasonte and Nasoni do. Are you sure of the spelling?

There is no Nasonti listed for Sicily but 46 NASONTE. I suspect that it was anglicized to NASONTI using the english sound for E inthe USA.

The 46 Nasonte for Sicily can be reviewed at www.paginebianche.it and put in Nasonte inthe first line and SICILIA inthe second line and cicik CERCA for all 46 by full name, address and telephone number. Perhaps first names may be a clue to your family since first name often stay in families for generations. =Peter=
