Obtaining the NARA "No Records" Document

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Re: Obtaining the NARA "No Records" Document

I got a NARA " record of no record" from the NY office, they were helpful;
but the final authority is the BCIS. as the omwan from NARA sais
"They have EVERYTHING" ( meaning the records)

You need to file a "Freedom of Information Act" request asking for info regarding your GF naturalization; send to to the BCIS.

They are legally obligated to give you his naturalization info or record of no record;
but they take 3-6 months. But within a few weeks, you should
have a number that is the inquiry number.

It then takes the Italians a year I think, so get on it, I waited o long and am STILL waiting.
