while you are awaiting a response from someone who may be researching these surnames, what do you want to know,specifically, so that you can be directed to appropriate websites for your own research? Peter

There are currently 34 persons in Italt with the surname Cortucci. 75% or 25 persons are located in the province of Ancona in the Marche region which is a very good indication that the surname originated in that province. The Italian dictionary has no lsiting for Cortucci but that is consistent with my findings since it is a local surname and probably derived from Corte but that is not a certainty. If you go to www.paginebianche.it and locate the surname in Ancona you will see their naems and addresses. Peter
