New to research....

Looking for info and tips on family research, locating birth, marriage, baptism and naturalization records. Also addresses and phone numbers of family still living in Italy. My grandparents immigrated in 1908 from Talamello. Grandfather is Satimeo Cupi, although ellis island site shows name as Sentinnio, which is incorrect. Grandmother is Angela Grifoni Cupi. Her brother and sister were still living at time of her death, and I know that she had an olive grove which reverted back to her brother, although we don't know his first name or location. My grandparents visited family often, taking their 5 children with them, but I can find no record of return trips to Italy. Any info is greatly appreciated, love the web site !!

Purchase the book Italian genealogical records by traffor R. Cole thru Amazon and its an easy read and you can do all your own research at your leisure. it will provide you with many hours of pleasure. Peter
