I need to send for a birth record for 1923 when Trieste did not belong to Italy. Will the records be at Ufficio dello Stato Civile Comune di Trieste?

Hi There,

As far as I'm aware Trieste was still under the Kingdom of Italy rulership in 1923. Prior to this it was under the Austro-Hungarian Empire for a period.
For the city of Trieste specifically try;
Ufficio dello Stato Civile
Comune di Trieste
Piazza Unita d’Italia 4
34121 Trieste

Or Vienna State Archives prior to this (they have an english version);
