Welcome to this forum.

The Mormons have microfilmed records for the town. For the years you need, you would have to retrieve those records from regional microfilm for the Toscana region of Italy (those records go from 1808-1865, and your town is included). It is costly to do, as they pretty much have one year of records for either male or female births on each roll of microfilm, so you need very specific dates.

See the library catalog on the www.familysearch.org. Type in your town name and Italy, in the box below that. You will see all of the microfilmed records available for rental through the Mormon family history centers for your town.

The regional records are is in the state archive in Firenze (Florence)

Salvatore D'Acierno born between 1840 and 1850 his Father believed to be Marcos Angel D'Acierno and mother was Maria flor D'liz.

You would have to write to the address above in Italian to try to get the birth information for which you are searching.

I don't know if I'm doing this right, but I need to know if the name Amilafade, in Salerno, Italy is the correct name or if it was changed,,any info would be very helpful....also , Melliccucca, in Calabria, Italy, is a monostatic commune...does anyone have info on it...thanks for any help .....

Its Amalafede, but you would write to Stella Cilento in Salerno province in Campania region
