Old Photos of Italy
Old Photos of Italy
Hi; I wasnt sure where to post this, there is a great old photos of Italy section. Where did those photos come from, were the submitted by the site or by members? I looked for Cittanova in Reggio Calabria where my grandparents came from, but no luck. Is there someplace I can look these kind of photos up? I know there was an earthquake in 1880 the year my GF was born, so I can only hope some photos still exist. Thanx in advance Johnnie

If you haven't done so already, try scrolling through pages of images at Google Image Search, http://images.google.com/images?q=Citta ... =en&tab=wi

Hi Peter,
I would be interested in knowing what the towns of Castellerini, Sicily looked like in 1913 and what it looks like now. Also, what the town of Castellermini, Girgenti looked like in 1910 and now....and the town of Casteltermini looked like in 1915 and now. I am not sure if this is one and then same location(s) or different ones. Also the departure port of Palermo in 1913 and the departure port of Naples in 1910. These are the residences and departure ports that my great grandparents (Severino and Sciabica) lived in and left from during those years...and any pictures that you are able to provide historically would help to complete my Heritage Scrapbook that I am putting together to leave my girls when I am gone.
Thanks in advance,
Shannon
