How would I go about finding a birth record from the town in Italy where the ancestor was born without actually going there? Im trying to find more information on Luigi Gazzarini who was born in Mercato Saraceno in 1889. From the records that are available on Ancestry.com it seems his fathers name was Anselmo, but other than that, I can't find any info about his mother, or anything else about his father. I have the Immigration records, ship manifests and census records for Luigi (Louis). Im also trying to find info on the parents of his wife, Mariannina Passini. She was previously married to a Bertuzzi before she came to the states. She was born in 1899 and we think in the town of Montese.
