This is a great search engine of passengers leaving Hamburg , Germany up to 1934 I think. It is from the German Government, and if you find your ancestor, you can order the manifest. (or i suppose get it from the Mormon church)

Thanks anyway but your a day latge and a dollar short. There are a couple of "Hamburg" websites. These are paying websites for information that has yet to be completed for the years 1850 to 1934. All available years currently are 1890 to 1905 from a database and all others thru passenger lists. If anyone is interested please let me know as the website is in german as well as english!!!.
