If I were to have a family member do them for me, how is it done? Is there a specific form or criteria of exactly how the translation needs to be written up? I was wondering if any one here did their own and maybe can post an example of what it should look like.

Translations for consulate
Re: Translations for consulate
If you have many that are the same format, from the same state for example, much cheaper to pay to have one translated, then just duplicate the form/procedure for the rest. The translated document looks very similar to the original document, or at least that is the intent, imho.

Re: Translations for consulate
I am doing mine myself. The consulate of NY told me that I'd go to a certified translator to get them certified afterwards. Much cheaper this way.
