surname Stroffolino

I am not the most educated in geneology, however I am curious about my family's past and connections with other families. The surname Stroffolino is not common amongst Italy, with most roots tracing back to a small town, Forchia, Italy, an hour or so outside of Naples. I have information on most of the main branches of Stroffolinos in the United States, but no information on how they are related. My own branch, the "New Jersey" Stroffolinos started with my great grandfather, Joseph Thomas Stroffolino Sr., who was an immigrant from Forchia around 1904. I seek to find any knowledge about his family before marriage, cousins, brothers, people that may have started different branches of the family. Today there are many. Any information would be great.

There are two forchia. One is Forchia in the provinceof benevento and the other is in the province of Caserta but in ea ch case there is a micorfilm of the civil records for each in the family huitsory library of the Mormon church nearest your home dating from 1806 up to 1860 and beyond to 1892. the cost is nominal and copies can be made of all births,marriages and deaths in either town.
