General help question please
My GGrandmother's name was Carolina Laurentini.
There doesn't appear to be any history of use in the family of the name Carolina, but Carolina as a forename seems to be relatively common in the late 1800's in Italy.
Do any members have an insight as to why it was popular at this time?
Thanks in advance
Steve

Re: Carolina Laurentini
I have seen the name throughout my research (which is primarily in the 1800's). I always wondered whether it had Italian roots.
I would guess there may have been some influence from other countries, but when I am not sure. In Italy, that could have been anytime.
