Now I am really under pressure!

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Now I am really under pressure!

Post by beauac »

Just called to make my appointment at the consulate. They had two available. One for Nov 8th next month and one for September 2011! I took the november 8th even though it will take a miracle to get the documents from Italy by before then.

The nov 8th was a cancellation so maybe there is the hope I can snag another cancelled appointment if I dont have my documents by then.

Also I was billed 20 dollars by their service for the call even though I clocked myself in at half of that. Go figure!

I would consider yourself very lucky. On the other hand I do not know how much they will appreciate you not having enough documents. What documents do you have ?
