We are all eating turkey and the trimmings. Today is Thanksgiving - a very big holiday where people travel thousands of miles for a free meal! By now, many are taking a nap and sleeping off the excess calories.

I just finished my Italian thanksgiving meal, antipasti, totrolini en brodo, turkey, gravey, two stuffings, green beans almondine, corn with lima beans (American succotash!), and cranberry sauce. Waiting for dessert of home made pumpkin and apple pies, ice cream and coffee.

About 8:00 pm our time, we start making sandwiches with the left-overs.

Have a Happy one!

Not only the celebration of Thanksgiving, but for most of us, this day usually involves lots of prep work...I bake all my dessert the day before, along with cleaning vegetables, ect., ect.,......

now if only those annoying spammers would take a break!

Spammers....as in those nonsense ads posted by morons advertising a variety of goods....

Thanksgiving Day is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in the month of November, national holiday and everyone gets the day off work! :D

They've been horrible this week....you would think as your deleting them they would just stop, but I guess that would take brains and they evidently lack those!

Don't forget, American tradition, the day after Thanksgiving kicks off Black Friday.....so everyone is out in droves shopping for Christmas...I never go, the traffic and crowds leave me claustrophobic!

Black Friday is probably the cause of all these spammers. Everyones shopping, so it's the perfect time to look for victims.
